Call for applications for BSCB Postdoctoral representative 

The BSCB is calling on eligible members to apply for the position of BSCB PostDoctoral Representative on our BSCB committee. The role will initially involve shadowing the current BSCB PostDoctoral Representative Aymen Al-Rawi so that you can learn the role before taking over the position fully at the end of the current holder’s tenure in Nov. 2026. We are looking to appoint a shadow representative ahead of our 2026 Spring BSCB Meeting so that the successful applicant can attend and shadow our current PostDoctoral Representative at the meeting.

In your application, please enclose a CV and a cover letter detailing why you are interested in becoming the BSCB PostDoctoral Representative and what you feel you can bring to the role. Please detail in your application how long you have remaining in your current postdoctoral contract bearing in mind that the postdoctoral representative will normally serve on the committee for 2 years but will be requested to step down earlier if no longer a postdoc.
