‘A picture tells a thousand words’. What makes an outstanding microscopy image? Is it the biology underlying? The technical prowess of the sample maker? The composition or colour choice? It is probably all of of the above.
The BSCB Image competition is currently closed. The annual competition usually opens in January with a deadline in March.
Entries should be sent by email (10 x 11.96 cm 300 dpi) to the web and social media officer alongside your name, affiliation, BSCB membership number, image title and a 50-word image caption. Please read the full rules and regulations for the image competition here before you submit your entry. The subject matter of competition entries is entirely flexible but should reflect current research in Cell Biology.
