Dynamic Cell III 2018

Dynamic Cell III

2018 The Dynamic Cell III Meeting

19th-21st March 2018, Manchester Conference Centre

Our Annual Spring Meeting for 2018 is held jointly with the Biochemical Society. Registration and abstract submission is here.

This conference is our flagship event for 2018 and provides a unique forum to network and socialise with the cell biology community.

The meeting features a plenary talk by Tony Hyman and five symposia with an outstanding line up of speakers from around the world and many opportunities for oral communications selected from abstracts. The symposia topics are: (1) cytoskeletal dynamics, (2) cell-cell communication, (3) cell migration and the extracellular matrix, (4) cytoskeletal regulation of cell division, and (5) imaging and probing cell functions.

The meeting also includes four medal lectures from the BSCB Hooke Medal and the BSCB Women in Cell Biology winners as well as 2 prizes from the Biochemical Society. We have a dedicated early career symposium, which is organised by the BSCB postdoc and student representative. The meeting includes several well-attended, lively and stimulating poster sessions and social events (including the conference dinner and party).

The Dynamic Cell III follows on from earlier successful Dynamic Cell meetings in Edinburgh and Cambridge and is expected to attract 250 delegates, ranging from seasoned leaders in the field to first year graduate students attending the meeting for the first time. Please browse the website for more details about the conference, including information on registration, abstract submission, the scientific and social programme as well as details of our sponsors and exhibitors, whose essential support and contribution to the conference are very much appreciated.
